We want to be known throughout Uganda for being a well-respected employer and committed to the success of our team members in every area of their lives. This will be accomplished by providing our workers with a safe work environment, providing fair compensation, and offering opportunities to give back to the community. Help Desk will make a difference in Uganda’s forests and classrooms but our most lasting impact will come from creating jobs that bring dignity to those we work with.
There are scores of non-governmental organizations in Uganda doing amazing work but their collective efforts cannot make the impact needed to pull the country out of poverty. The World Bank has pointed to job creation as the most critical need Uganda’s economy. Help Desk aims to build opportunities for skilled Ugandans and encourage further investment into East African communities.
